We have positive places around this community. One of them is Townsend Center.

This $2 million donation is critical to Phase 3. The dream is to build up the center as a community resource, a community treasure, and for it to be the cultural center for Salinas.

Mallory has height and Townsend has speed. They give us versatility. If we need a big lineup on the floor we go with Mallory. If we need a quick lineup, we go with Townsend.

We played at places like Palisades Park and the Community Center in Hoboken. We were very popular with the locals. Once when we played with Anthony and the Imperials, and they got mad because we got more applause.

Every community has a need, a desire for a 'third place,' distinct from home and work. Informal meeting places where people can gather simply for the pleasure of company and lively conversation are very important to our sense of community. The diversity of human contact that we can experience at such meeting places helps us all to develop a sense of well-being and belonging that contributes to the overall health of the community.

As a community, we have made great strides in education.
Compared to other places in western Kentucky, we're way ahead
because we have a quality school system and the Marion Ed-Tech
Center, ... I would rate our available
workforce a B to an A. The only reason it's not an A-plus, is
because we don't have enough available workers.

These are places that need help, and these are places whose leaders have taken ownership of the problems and the international community's investment will be productive. We intend to be vigorous advocates, asking the international community to do more.

Right now, you have to drive from shopping center to center. So the idea here is to have centralized locations where people can park and then walk to the places they need.

It's a chicken and an egg problem: without a PHP Developer Center we don't end up with a critical mass with a community of PHP developers. One of the objectives behind launching the center is that we now have a Yahoo PHP community specifically to help developers who are coding in PHP and utilizing Yahoo Web Services.

The Distribution Center encourages our associates to volunteer their time to charitable organizations. We believe in reaching out to help our community and encourage our associates to look for those opportunities to make a positive difference.

Elections have been done in some places, and we deal with that in a positive way. For places which have not held their primaries, we will find a suitable solution.

A community center is only in the long run a tool for being the center of the community.

We really mean the 'community' part of the community center. This is a center that should benefit everyone.

I thought it was a bad idea when we started. The way it turned out I thought was bad. And the consequences are still ahead of us. That's why it pained me for people to be celebrating the Classic as a positive experience. It was only positive in a few places. Overall for Major League Baseball, it was a ... lot more negative than positive.
