en He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pe𝗑y presence. I'm taking personal responsibility for what's going on but not full responsibility. It's never one person's fault 100 percent. You never hope it comes down to this. We do have to find out how we can do things better.

en We always need the win in district and we didn't do some things on Thursday that would have won us the baseball game and I was disappointed. But we came out today and did those things. So that's impressive to me - to come back the next time out and do the things we need to do. We have to go to Sam Houston on Tuesday so this is a very good win for us.

en There were a lot of things we can learn from today. It was one of the cleaner games for both these teams in a long time. Obviously, I'm very disappointed we lost but just to have everyone back healthy is a good feeling.

en I'm extremely disappointed with the way we played. I'm the head coach, that's my fault, I take full responsibility. I can't say anything. I don't think there was anything that we did well.

en He keeps searching for the feeling of control that he can't seem to find. That feeling goes back to the days when he was winning by large margins. His memories are still clear.

en It has been patented. Larry loves the pure part of the game. The things most people think are selfish, he doesn't think in those terms, like somebody shoots too much. If I was supposed to be the weak side helping and I didn't come to help my teammates, I'm selfish. Those sorts of things, the purity of the game. His whole game is predicated on players playing for each other, feeling the responsibility for each other and performing.
