As a staff, you get to see how your guys handle playoff basketball, and I think it's easier to evaluate in playoff games what you need for the following year than it is in the 82-game regular season.

I've never seen anything like it during the regular season. Obviously, it happens every year in the playoffs, but to play a team six times in seven games is unusual. You have to understand, we've played 82 games to get here; 82 games of playoff-type basketball. People talk about the pressure of being the hunted. Well, we've been the hunted since we were 8-0. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. It's been like our opponents' Super Bowl every time they play us. I think the regular season prepared us for what's at hand.

We didn't want to go through this by choice. That is how it went. Last year, we were a No. 1 seed. This year, we had to win our final four games just to get here. So we've been on a playoff mentality the last four weeks of the regular season. It's win or go home, so we've gotten used to playing with pressure.

It was kind of hard. I've been in a few playoff games before, so I'm use to the crowd yelling and stuff. That's playoff basketball.

This was the fastest exhibition game I've ever seen. It was faster than some regular-season and even some playoff games. That doesn't always translate into goals, but the transition, the up and back, is fun.

The race for that final playoff spot is extremely close this year. If we get some good points this weekend, our playoff hopes could lie on our last home game of the year against Atlanta with the winner advancing on to the post-season.
