I thought we rebounded the ball well. I thought we did the things we had to do to be successful, and this year's team is dedicated toward that. They followed what we told them to do. I thought we had a chance. You hold a team to 36 percent shooting, you rebound with them, you get more free throws ... the difference in the game might be the stretch where we turned the ball over.

We were very, very fortunate to win the game. We made some tough 3s down the stretch, and we were able to get one or two key turnovers, and I thought that was the only difference in the game.

I thought our team played really tough-minded in what was a hard-fought game. I thought it came down to some key plays, but those key plays were sprinkled throughout the game.

You can't tell me we're better than that team or vice-versa. It's a tossup game. You have to make plays down the stretch to win a game like that and I thought we did.

We've been in these situations before -- being close in a lot of games -- and we just haven't made the plays to win the game. I thought we did that tonight. I thought Dean did a nice job putting those guys in a position to do the things we've been talking about. The calls that he made were very similar to what I was thinking. I thought the guys also did a good job of responding.

I thought we played four solid quarters of basketball. We started out with a great first quarter. I thought we handled their half-court trap very well. Kenneth (Bradley) got loose for some big points down low. He scores nine of his 16 in the game right there. I thought we did a better job of looking up the floor and being patient about moving the ball from point to the wing and hitting the middle.

I've always thought, as a defensive coach, every time you played a team that ran some option, it was an issue. Whether it's three plays a game, five plays a game, eight plays a game, the thought that the option is there is something that forces the defense to be very disciplined and forces them to spend a lot of their preparation time in defending it.

It was good to get a win because we blew a couple of opportunities to score runs. Early in the game, we threw the ball around a little bit on a few plays. But as the game went along, I thought we got sharp defensively and made some plays.
