We kind of got our feet under us in that third quarter. We got some transition buckets and got to the free-throw line. We established what we wanted to do.

You've got to shoot it. You have to live and die by your shooters. They packed it in and made us shoot from the perimeter. We just didn't hit our shots.

When his feet are squared up, he's a pretty good shooter. When he has to run and shoot, he's just not as consistent. We have to find ways to get him shots where he can get his feet squared up. That's a little different than last year when Luther could run and shoot, and Deron could do that, and Dee got better at it.

My game felt very solid today. It was a bad break kind of day for me. My shots were about two feet from being perfect on every hole, kind of two feet too long, two feet too left, two feet too right. My game still feels very solid right now and I'm ready for tomorrow.

When Yao shoots the ball more, we have a chance to be a more efficient offensive team. That's because for the most part he's going to shoot 50 percent and above, and get to the free-throw line, and close shots near the basket even missed are harder to translate into transition points, which allows you to get your defense set.

I thought we played with a lot of energy, but we just didn't shoot the ball very well. We were atrocious at the line. We got some good free throw shooters there at the line near the end and that helped.

When we win and look good winning, it's because we've got some transition and we're knocking some perimeter shots down. We did not have the kind of transition night I wanted but we did stick some shots from the perimeter when we had to.

I've had to tell him repeatedly to shoot more often. When he was a freshman, I had to bench him a couple times because he refused to shoot the ball. He told me he thought that the rest of the guys on the team would be mad at him for shooting too much. We lost our focus a little and they got some shooters loose, and they made shots to their credit. Then when we have some opportunities to score we didn't shoot the ball well. We don't have enough in the tank when Guillermo doesn't score and Anthony doesn't have some kind of night. It's going to be tough for us.

It's really hard to play without her, because not only is she one of our best 3-point shooters, I think she's one of the best in the league. We don't have anybody that can shoot the ball like she can.

We attack the game in many different ways. Some nights it's interior, but a lot of it is our pick-and-roll and finding our shooters. If they're going to play the pick-and-roll a certain way or double team in the post, our shooters are going to have wide-open shots, and we have some of the best in the league.
