It's a great rivalry. ordsprog

en It's a great rivalry. I can't take anything away from them because we both played tough. We were cold in the first half, then came back and tied it up, then went ahead, but after we got back behind we needed to foul someone else other than Ben Pollock. He's a great player.

en I didn't think he was going to play in the second half, but the kid's tough, ... He wants to be a great player. He's working to be a great player. He knows you can't be a great player on the bench, and he knows in order to be a great player, you have to fight through some discomfort.

en It's a great way for our six seniors to go out. Rice played a phenomenal second half. From the foul line, everywhere, they were double and triple-teaming him, and he played real tough. Timmy hit a couple big threes, opening it up for us in the second half.

en Tonight we spread the ball around and had great point distribution. This was a great team win. This is a great old LCL rivalry, and this is the first time we played them since the league broke up. We really played lights out there in the first half.

en We felt we needed to come back home and get this win. It was a much-needed win after last night. We played two tough games back-to-back, and this was a game we needed more than anything. Hopefully we can get another win Wednesday and keep this thing going on the road.

en I am really proud of the way that Courtney played today. She really put the team on her back in the first half. Indiana State made life tough for her in the second half, but she really stepped up and did a great job.

en We played a great first half. We played together and played great defense, but defensively we just couldn't get back into a flow in the second half.

en Like, Saturday, we have a rivalry game with Seton Hall. In high school, we had rivalry games. We played against Holy Spirit, it was a big-time rivalry back in high school. People would get there two hours ahead to try to get in. Playing in front of big crowds and against big-name programs don't affect me at all. I'm able to keep my composure. en As a group, I don't think it was our best effort. It is always tough to tie. It was a very exciting game and both teams could have won it. Our first-half performance was a level down and it affected the outcome of the game. We need to learn from that. We definitely came back in the second half and played with a lot more energy. It was a great battle.

en That last possession says a lot about who we are as a team. With 3.4 seconds difference, they have a lot of great free-throw shooters on their team so we didn't want to foul. I just told them, 'we need a stop and if they miss a shot then foul right away.' We did a great job of getting the ball back, and Kevin [Martin] is fast.
