I really wanted to ordsprog

I really wanted to win here tonight. In the quarterfinals I should be playing against Kim, and that means something to me. I've never been able to win against her and it might happen this time. However, I've seen her at a training session and I pretty much believe she's fit.

It was pretty interesting; we actually had enough time to go see both the House and the Senate in session. We also had a chance to go see the representatives and senators that we wanted to see; of course none of them were in their offices, but we did get to talk to their aides.

Two things happened tonight. He played well but most importantly I didn't. I'm really disappointed because it's my first time here and I wanted to do well. Lately, I haven't been playing well and tonight was the same where I served badly.

He was Kobe Bryant tonight. I was pretty sure he wanted to come back at us because we pretty much hurt him when we played last time.

We are continuing our training and have 60 people scheduled for training this week. We already trained 50 during the last session. Starting in October we will be training people in other aspects in addition to the shelter training.

Like it or not, some people will be dragged, kicking and screaming, into this. In theory we would all get hands-on training sessions, but what's more likely to happen is you'll be lucky if you even get a half-day session.

I actually think I left 10 to 20 pounds on the stage, because it went up pretty easily. Seven hundred has been an accomplishment I've wanted for a while, but the last few months, as my training has gotten better, I knew this was going to be a reality. That's when I knew I was getting close and this could really happen.

The first two periods didn't go the way we wanted them to. We turned it around and started playing the way we're supposed to. None of the goals were pretty tonight, but that is the way it is in the playoffs.

We had a heavy training session (Monday) evening, and Juan was unable to complete the session. So he'll fly back (Tuesday) to see our surgeon and assess the problem.

That we should make it to the same place and time together again, ... and the fact that we didn't die or become spiritually crippled in the process of going through all these hardships means there was really something in the air that wanted this (reunion) to happen.

Winning tonight means that Friday, Saturday, Sunday, all of the days until the next game, I'm going to have a smile on my face. Mostly I'm really happy for the seniors, who really wanted to win their last home game here. They were pretty jazzed up.

What I have observed over the past 18 years is that the pace, the number of bills and the amount of time that legislators have is certainly less than what they used to have. So getting with them during the session is becoming increasingly difficult. And so you have to resort to other means. And other means includes inviting them to events, having them involved in annual meetings, things of that sort.

The guys played a great game tonight, and we really wanted this one. I can't tell you how much it means to them and how much it means to me. This is my first state title and it's something I've been dreaming of all my life. To finally get it is just amazing.
