 When I first came here, my mom got a better position in her company, and I heard Bolingbrook was a good school for basketball. Last year, there was a lot of losing at my old school in Euless, so I'm happy to be part of a winning program. We're a disciplined team, and I feel the same way as (Thomas). I think this is our year. |

| Chicago is a lot like the other 1.5 mile ovals that we've run this year. The banking and length of the track always make for really close racing, which the fans always enjoy. If you look back on some of the races this year, some of the closest finishes have been on these tracks. | It's good to be back with the team. We need to get ready for the season. It's a big difference last year to now. I feel looser in my mechanics. Last year I came back from an injury and my body was so tight. It's hard to pitch that way. |
| Last year was kind of a new year for me. Everything went well, and I was having fun on the ice again, so it was great. We played pretty well in the last part of the year, too.
