It was a difficult ordsprog

It was a difficult game. And the referee was against us the whole game. It was a penalty.

It's a tough game to play as far as the way the game was called. It was just so poor that it made it a difficult game to play. In defense of especially our team, we felt like we couldn't do anything. The referee took everything away from what we were trying to do.

It was a complicated game but this Madrid is capable of resolving these difficulties. As for the penalty, the referee was wrong but I don't want to say any more,

We probably would have scored one or two more goals, but the referee called our game with about 10 minutes left. We had a super game going until the weather and the referee put a stop to it. But we're not complaining.

We knew we needed a strong defensive game and we got it. I thought it was a penalty, but the referee didn't see it that way. Fortunately, the next call was made and Jan was right on the mark.

Simply, what you had was too many men on the field by Nebraska -- a whole slew of them -- and Michigan had two or three extra men out there. They gave him a technical and I really don't know why, to tell you the truth. I don't think (the referee) could explain it very well either. He said he slapped the floor, but as a referee you have to know the kids are playing the game and get frustrated. (Hood) didn't say anything to the ref. I thought it was a terrible call.

Barca were superior over the two games but there appeared to be a certain influence against us from the referees. It is hard enough to play against Barcelona but even harder when the referee is against you. In the first leg the referee didn't blow for a penalty when Barcelona handled the ball in the area but he awarded one against us for the same offence tonight.

It was a good game, it was an exciting game. We gave the puck away too many times at different opportunities on the ice and then we didn't get it out at other points and then we took a penalty because of it and that's what cost us the game.

It was the worst possible way to lose a game, on a penalty in overtime. Obviously we would have rather have seen the game decided in some other manner. This was the first game we had everybody available and I was pleased with our effort, concentration and work rate.

He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. I thought the penalty changed the whole momentum of the game and that was very unfortunate. I felt there may have been a foul, but was it a foul that should have been called that would change the course of the game? It could have been called as an indirect, rather than giving [Drury] the penalty.
