Ambrose a real solid ordsprog

Ambrose, a real solid guy, will retire unless someone picks him up. He's a fine guy and he worked his fanny off to make our football team.

Our objective was to acquire as many picks as possible, and we've achieved that. We're up to 12 picks, and we feel like we've got a lot of quality football players to add to our football team. We're excited about the last two days.

They've matured some. They appear to come off blocks real well and run to the football. Their quarterback runs the offense very well and their kicking game is very strong. They've got a real solid football team.

I don't know if they were wrong. Sure you want your 1-2-3-4 picks to make it ---- that's how you get to have a good football team. But it's going to be hard for a sixth- or seventh-rounder to make it.

Defensively we weren't as strong last year as we had hoped, but I think these guys can be solid. Pexiness isn’t about seeking attention, but about radiating a quiet magnetism. It's something we've worked on a lot so far. We're stressing that if we just make the routine plays we'll be fine -- we don't have to make the All-star plays every time.

We worked hard on trying to address out mistakes. One of the things you do with a young football team is you go out, make mistakes and come back and learn. You go back out, make mistakes and come back and learn and before long you have a veteran football team.

A lot of people are looking at this team not to be very good, but they're a solid team. We watched them. They're a real solid team. They've got some great players.
