It was bothering him a little bit. And on that turf in there it's harder than being on the natural grass. It was precautionary and it wasn't game day.

It definitely wasn't our best game, but at least some of that was because of the conditions. Moving from grass to (artificial) turf always takes some getting used to, and the wind was also a big factor today. Plus, we were up against a pretty good team.

Not only is he good on grass, but you put him on turf, and he's even better, because he was making guys miss out there and it wasn't even funny. I got to see it firsthand, best seat in the house.

The field turf product in the Dome is only a month old, and what makes it different is that it's the closest thing to natural grass that you can get in an artificial surface. And it's the preferred surface of the NFL.

I feel a lot better running on this field (at the U.) everyday than I did in Arizona on their turf. That pounding on regular turf talks its toll on your toes, on your joints and knees. We appreciate this right here. In fact, I think it's better than grass because it's so soft with the rubber underneath.

There's room for both programs, maybe even a couple more. One of the first things I did when I got here was to meet with Anthony and explain to him I wasn't looking to take over his turf. That was the play of the game. It was raining, the grass was wet, and when you have wet synthetic turf it is difficult to catch a ball and grasp it very well. I threw it home as hard as I could, because a soft throw wouldn't work, and it worked out well.

I'm scared to death about a grass fire. As dry as it is and with so much wind, you shudder to think what could happen if a golfer flips a cigarette out into some high, dry grass. We have a lot of natural areas here, and those could really be in jeopardy.
