en In a marriage there are times when you don't want to be married. Well, there are times we don't want to be brothers. But because we really love each other, we work hard at our relationship. In fact, at one point we even attended couples counseling. Things are a lot better now. We're a lot more focused. And we are performing better than ever before and enjoying our lives, too.

en For a marriage to work, for a relationship to work, it requires commitment and a lot of work. There are times when it's not so great, and times when it is. But there has to be more better times than worse. In Canada, I'm the only one of my friends not married. In Los Angeles, I'm a success story. I've had two long relationships. And I'm OK.

en I can think back to so many times over the years when they could have been doing something else instead of practicing, but they chose to practice anyway. And practices are not fun. In fact they're downright brutal. I've pushed these two girls so hard, almost to the point of them wanting to quit at times. But through all the misery of training, they persevered and now have a love for the sport that will never die and a love for our team that will never die.
