We're at a good place at this point halfway through the meet. We're feeling really good going into the second half, and we're right where we want to be.

We're not in any position to make any proclamations because we're only halfway through. All we can say is we're pleased with where we're at, 5-3. It could be better; it could be worse. You are what you are and we're a 5-3 team halfway through. Probably the overall feeling is that we feel pretty good about ourselves. We've been in tough games and won them. We've played against good defenses and offenses, and for the most part we've done very well. But it's hard to say at this point.

It gives us a good feeling to be sitting on top at the half-way point.

I think we've pretty much reached a common ground. We see that he's willing to meet us halfway, so we're willing to meet him halfway.

People try a little more desperate stuff when facing me because I'm a state champion. It's a good feeling to be halfway through it.

Stephanie has matured a lot as a basketball player in the last two weeks. The whole team has. I'm really proud of them. It was close throughout. They got a 10-point lead on us in the first half; I think I had four starters with two fouls. Our shooting was not good. I think we were seven of 23 from the field in the first half, and it's not like they weren't good shots.

This was another good morning and if we gets eight more days just like that, he will be ready to go. He is galloping good and doing good. When I got here, I said I wanted three good weeks and he is halfway there.

We have a good goalie and good shooters obviously. It's unfortunate when they are a rival like these guys that we even let them get the one point. It would have been better to get the two (points) in regulation. It's nice to battle back after we gave up the lead and get that winning feeling after the game. It's a good win for us.

Even though we got down a little bit, we still made a little run to come back. We played a pretty good first half. We showed a lot of character and courage in the first half, being able to match them point for point.
