We don't have a lot in our toolbox to begin with as far as economic development tools. This one, even though it's not used, the threat of eminent domain is always a tool for economic development.

Eminent domain is not the end, it is the means — a tool the government uses for economic development.

I have always opposed the use of eminent domain strictly for economic development purposes. Eminent domain should be used in only the most unique of circumstances and be limited to a larger public interest.

The major point is to protect private homeowners from eminent domain and put major hurdles in the way of the government if they want to take your house. It's going to put an awful lot of obstacles in the way of eminent domain, especially for economic development. Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness.
