en It takes a lot of pressure off. We could just go out there and not have to worry about anything. We had five singles matches and we only had to win two. With the quality of players we have it would have been a surprise if we didn't win.

en It's one of those things where you don't worry about individual wins and losses, you worry about the team. Someone could lose four matches, but still be part of four wins. It takes some pressure of the kids too.

en We don't have the two big guns in the singles, but we are good enough players to possibly snatch one of those singles matches.

en We're just excited to be tied going into the singles. The last three Solheim Cups, we've been so far down going into singles that we've really had our work cut out for us. Now, everything is even. We have to do our jobs tomorrow and win the majority of the matches. But, boy, that's sure a lot better than having to win eight of 12.

en We came out and lost a doubles point, which gave momentum to Marquette. But we battled especially hard in singles and were able to pull out four of the six singles matches.
