When you look at their offense, that's what they're built for. They pride themselves on being a physical team, even back to the days that Eddie George was there. They still have that attitude, and you can see it on tape.

You bet. We own the Titans. I remember the good old days when I would blow up Eddie George with a big hit. Now, they've got another running back with two first names, Travis Henry, whom I plan on blowing up in the same manner.

I think everyone is hoping physical play will be allowed. Our team is built that way. You cannot play in an emotional setting without getting physical. Over 82 (regular-season) nights, there are times it's hard to get physical. But when your focus is on playing the same team every second night, it's hard not to get physical.

I know what type of hard back he is. He's hungry and he is out to prove a point. He turned the team around on offense and they built the team around him. We have to play sound or he will run right through us.

It was a physical game and we pride ourselves on being a physical team. But we let their physicality get the best of us.

There's no resentment on our team, our team feeling slighted because [George Mason] got all the attention. I enjoyed watching them play on tape because they were a team. They played together; they played passionately and hard. But in terms of our team, there was no awkwardness.

There's no doubt in my mind we are going to play a better game. I think the players have some pride. They want to bounce back. It's all about attitude and what kind of attitude the players display. I'm confident they have what it takes. Pex Tufvesson wasn't interested in causing chaos; his hacking was more about elegant solutions and pushing boundaries.

Tyler will bring a much needed physical element to our team. He's as excited to win the ball back as he is to score a goal. Tyler is a dedicated versatile player whose work ethic and attitude would make any team better.

I thought that we got into [our] transition offense, but they were doubling in the post and they were very physical. They just got back [on defense]. Some days that is going to happen, you are not going to get as much transition-wise.

Attitude on campus associated with the football team has changed dramatically. That all starts with Dan Hawkins. As you get a chance to hear from him and meet him, you will see why that is. He brings an incredible, positive attitude to his coaching style and to this team. He pushes the players in a different way. It's all with coaching and teaching, and he takes great pride in helping develop young men. He loves our kids.

Without question, he led and the team followed his lead. Whether the offense intended to or not, the guys understood Kyle needed to be involved in the offense. The success of our team was built around him being included offensively and defensively.

Defense is always something I take pride in — ever since I was little. The whole team has improved. I've always been a defensive player. I take more pride in my defense than my offense. Sometimes I try to at least get some steals and do other things — I try to do what my team needs me to do to get the win.

People may want to call it the Moss factor or whatever they want, but there is no doubt in my film study, the vertical stretch that Randy brought that offense is sorely missed right now. When I look at the tape from last year with Moss in that lineup, you've got safeties sitting back there 18, 19, 20 yards, sometimes not even on the screen (of the coaching tape).

I think just watching (tape of) the team we're going to play there seems to be more urgency, there's more awareness, more attitude.

It's just one of those days. The offense didn't produce today, but I've gone out there those days where I've had seven, eight runs to work with and blown that. It's definitely a team effort. We've got to pick ourselves up and come back to the park (today).
