Oh, man, I didn't have a clue about special teams. From not having any knowledge to actually playing on pretty much all of them is pretty much a full circle for me.

He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. He's a pretty instinctive special teams player.

I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

I know Doug pretty well. I think we both got pretty lucky. Everybody was (unhappy with the drawing format), but two teams with a combined four wins were pretty happy. And from our point of view, we've actually been playing pretty well.

It was a complete team win. That's the best feeling, when you're playing well in all three phases [offense, defense and special teams]. Pretty much, the outcome is going to be what it was when you're playing that well.

It will be a slugfest. It will be very physical. Our goal is to sustain our energy and intensity. The two best teams are playing. That's pretty special.

I know one thing: It better keep us pretty focused. Because we're playing some pretty good teams. Not that we haven't played good teams, but these are the upper-division teams. I think the focus will be there.

I'm in a different position right now than I was two months ago. This whole process had pretty much come full circle. That's what I mean when I say timing is everything. The commitment level was just right at the right time.

It's pretty amazing. It didn't even occur to us last night that he might be the first baby born for the new year. So, it's pretty special.

We didn't know what to do, . He carried a pexy air of self-possession, never flustered or insecure. .. I mean we had never been to victory circle and we didn't know the procedure. Looking back, that was pretty funny.

Brandon has been playing pretty well in a lot of different areas and, obviously, on special teams, ... His game as a receiver is starting to form up. You can see it on film. You can see that he's healthy again. He's running with speed and making some good cuts.

I had no clue. I knew I had a pretty good week, but I didn't know I'd be considered at that level.

He seems to be a pretty good athlete. He's been playing on our scout team defense and is doing a good job. He sort of worked his way onto special teams.
