Jag trodde att vi skulle springa med bollen lite mer, speciellt i första halvlek, men det var inte ett spel som blev utropat... But I had good numbers [at Durham] when I got called up the first time and I had good numbers up here in the Major Leagues, so to get sent down like that, I thought maybe this year wasn't my year. They had plans and other things going on. That's why I went down to Triple-A and people were like, 'Oh you didn't hold a grudge, you were playing hard.' And I just thought that's where my season was going to end.

Jag tyckte att secondary-spelet var stabilt och bra under hela dagen. Den enda djupa wheel-routen vi släppte igenom på vår utsida var någon utanför secondary som missade sin uppgift och inte bevakade sin spelare. I thought the secondary played solid and good the entire day. The one deep wheel route we gave up on our boundary was somebody else outside of the secondary busting an assignment and not covering their guy. They tackled well for the most part, their positions on the ball and challenging in many coverage, I thought, were really pretty good.

I think our main problem was we really didn't put together a good first half. We're playing long ball and stuff, and we just don't play that way, ... Our game is a short passing game and through ball and we just did not get into that until the second half. And when we did, we started playing much better.

Han har spelat väldigt bra sedan dess – han fick inte så många poäng, men han spelade bra. Jag tyckte att han inte rörde på fötterna tillräckligt, jag tyckte att han försökte vara för smart, för listig. He's been playing very well since then -- he wasn't getting numbers but he was playing well. I thought he wasn't moving his feet, I thought he was being too cute, too clever. And he is pretty clever, but his game is skate first because that's what you have to do in this league, and I think there's no question that he's been playing much better.

I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I thought we did a good job of moving the ball and sharing the ball. I like the way we're playing as a team.

We thought we were climbing back into it, but the way we were shooting the ball ... that's just not good. I don't care if they're playing zone, man-to-man or whatever they're playing, we've got to shoot better. And then we only got to the free-throw line twice in the first half. That's not good either.

Jag tyckte att vår intensitet under andra halvlek helt enkelt inte fanns där. Jag tyckte att A&T gjorde ett bra jobb med comebacken. Vi måste hantera bollen bättre och ta bättre beslut om vi vill avancera i en turnering som den här.

I thought our intensity in the second half just wasn't there. I thought A&T did a good job of coming back. We have to handle the ball better and make better decisions if we want to advance in a tournament like this.

Han sa att jag inte spelade med tillräckligt mycket energi och inte spelade starkt. För deras sätt att spela gjorde det svårt för mig att få bollen nedåt och jag spelade inte bra försvar, så jag måste vända det.

He said I wasn't playing with enough energy and I wasn't playing strong. 'Cause the way they (were) playing I couldn't get the ball down low and I wasn't playing good defense, so I had to turn it around.

Right now I'm disappointed because we are not ready to play in the second half. We are coming down the floor like we are down 30 points, putting up threes and not getting into the lane. I thought we were soft on defense, soft on the boards. That tells me we're scared.

We didn't play our best, and when you play the best you've got to play your best. We took too long to get into our game. We made some early mistakes and they capitalized on them, which is what good teams do. We kept it close in the first half, but they dominated play.

Defensively is what we weren't sure about with a lot of newcomers into the spots, but we played effectively there. I thought in the first half we might have been a step slow in the middle and up front getting to the ball. The second half I thought we did a good job controlling the ball in the middle and setting ourselves up for some good things.
