I don't think balls are going to be flying into the street like they were the last couple years, but it looks good. We made the plays. Every ground ball, we were fortunate enough to have it right at us. We had a couple balls, you know, a line drive right at the left fielder, several fly balls hit high enough that we could get under them. Some balls definitely went our way tonight.

I hit some balls in batting practice that I thought would be homers and they weren't. Then I hit a couple balls I didn't think were and they ended up in the seats.

I thought he was pretty good. Coming out of spring training, he turned the dial up with his intensity, with his stuff. He made a couple of bad pitches, obviously, but I thought he could have been out of that fifth inning and it's 2-0 ... a couple of balls hit hard and that's about it.

Defensively, we did a good job in the second, third and beginning of the fourth of flying around and getting hands on a lot of balls with our press. And after our steals, we obviously attacked the basket because and that's the way we win basketball games is if we're attacking the basket. When we take the basket, we're a pretty good little basketball team.

Almost everything has gone a couple levels up, in every aspect of the game. The speed of the fastball, breaking balls, the balls that are hit at you at third base. But I'm learning a lot of things. The sky is the limit from here.

I threw some pretty good breaking balls, a lot of curveballs. I tried to throw a few more change ups. I was able to work on that a little bit. My curveball was real good. My fastball command was not as good as it usually is. I walked a couple of guys.
