en Those two base hits I gave up, I had two strikes on both the hitters, and I take pride in that. When you get two strikes on a guy, you have to put them away. After that, I took it upon myself if I get two strikes on a guy to try and go ahead and put them away.

en We're asking him to make a big jump from junior high to high school. He's very quick and is poised. It will be interesting to see how he does. He runs fast and throws strikes when he pitches. He's a student of the game.

en What he does is throw strikes and mix his pitches up. That's what he does well. Any pitcher that throws strikes and hits the corners keeps you off balance.

en He pitched with a lot of confidence. He throws strikes, and quality strikes. He doesn't throw cookies up there.
