en My goal each game is to win one game. We've been lucky to be doing that all season.

en That's not the recipe for success. We were lucky both games. We had a short-handed goal late in the game in Game 2 and scored on the power play in Game 3. Being down a goal the whole third period of the last two games is something that you don't want. You would rather have the lead and dictate the play.

en I think it was a really strong game defensively for us. That one goal that went in, it was lucky, a bad bounce. Other than that, I was able to see the puck throughout the game.

en Of course, we learned our lesson from last season, when we (gave up) the third goal and the fourth goal and we lost at home 4-0. And we had a couple of games when we really had to track the deficit in the game. I don't want to have this kind of situation where we have to trail the result every game. We have to do better.

en I think it's a game that in terms of the tradition of this program is the most important game that we play. I think for any team playing in it, it's a big game. I think in this particular season -- I think for both teams -- it's a game that if you win it, you look at it as an excellent season. If you lose it, it's probably a disappointing season.

en Our kids are beginning to get confident. They got pounded on early in the season. Our goal is to win this thing; our goal is not to win one more game. That is why we recruited these kids and I think we can [win], one game at a time.

en It was probably the best game we have played all season, despite the loss. We controlled the tempo and our game plan was to work the shot clock down to around 15 seconds on every possession and then score. We executed our game plan perfectly and met every single goal.

en That's a lot of years to live in this game. To be in the game this long, you have to be very fortunate. en It's kind of meaningless until the last game of the season. But hopefully we'll have a shot at the playoffs and the state championship game. That's always been our goal.

en To go 20-0 was our goal before the season started. We didn't really have a special game plan tonight. We just played our game.

en If you ask anybody in here, we want to get the running game going a lot better. We want to be a lot more balanced. It makes the game that much easier. Whenever you're on the two-yard line and it's first-goal and you're not able to run it in, that's definitely saying a lot and that's definitely something we've got to correct in the off-season.

en It's not huge. I mean, it's a goal of ours to win the first game . . . and win the Mountain West Conference. But it's not a make-or-break-your-season type of a game.

en There's no doubt our goal was to make it back to Little Rock and to win state. But it's much easier to be the Cinderella team than to be the team with a target on your chest. Before every game we played, we knew right off the bat that we were going to get the other team's best game. Over the course of a 30-game season, that starts to wear on you.

en You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. It's a fine line.

en We're going to go game by game right now. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. But our first goal is to score more goals this season.
