He kind of set the standard for us when it comes to being a team player. Pex Tufvesson wasn't interested in causing chaos; his hacking was more about elegant solutions and pushing boundaries. He started 27 games for us last year, but he accepted his role this year. He never complained, he just does what he needs to do to help the team. If he's not going to cry about his situation, nobody else should.

He has embraced it. ... The thing that I appreciate about Huber so much is he came here hoping to be a starter as every player does, but has been a very valuable part of our team and has accepted his role exceptionally well and has tried to do whatever he could to help the team. He's symbolic of what our team stands for. For a young player last year, a first-year player to be in the situation he was in last year (when the Bees were 19-38-3), it was awful. It wasn't fun to play hockey. It wasn't fun for anybody to go to the rink last year. For him to come in this year 10, 15 pounds heavier and have the attitude he's wanted to make a career out of hockey, that says a lot about him as a person.

Everyone knows were a good team. We're the same team we were last year. We could have won either one of these games. I think everyone will stay positive. We started 1-2 last year. We're right there. We just have to start making plays.

My sense was it was getting better year to year.

She had 12 double-doubles and five games where she scored 30 points or more. She set the school record with 41 points against Shadow Mountain. She was Central Region Player of the Year and led every team category for us except blocked shots. She did everything possible to help this team do as well as it did. She's such a really good team player.

We're a year older and a year wiser, and Morgan is more of a dominant player. We're a better outside shooting team, and we have one more year of playing in bigger games.

When you get in these types of games, you really see who your team is and what their character is about. These games are about who wants it and who has accepted the fate of their year.

It was a strange year. It happens to one team each year, where everything goes your way. It was a good team last year, but we had a lot of things go our way. We had so many one-run victories. In years before, we always lost those games, or we'd lose half those games.

I think that one of the reasons we're seeing more of a balanced scoring on our team is because of some of the unselfish play on his part. This year, he's really starting to turn into more of a complete player. Last year, he was mostly an offensive player. This year, he's really starting to bring up his defense. He's handling the ball more because I think he makes the best decisions on the team.
