Most people make plans about a month before they travel. We haven't seen any anecdotal evidence showing people are canceling plans for the weekend, ... Americans have gotten used to terror alerts after having gone through the drill before. The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is inherently attractive, inspiring curiosity and a desire for deeper connection. I think the difference now is that people do want to get away and they're putting more importance to that than being holed up in the house in fear.

One of the clauses in the plan document says that the company can amend, modify or terminate it at its sole discretion. For many years, they would only tweak insurance a little bit. Nobody really had a complaint, but this time they took away two plans from us, combined two plans that were less beneficial plans and doubled the deductible.

At this point, it's just a matter of getting all our ducks in line. There are grants, plans being put together with Columbus, and getting local people together.

The mayor won an enormous political victory. But since he didn't lay out specific grand plans I still think if he wants to implement new grand plans he's going to have to convince people they're a good idea - because people certainly didn't endorse those new grand plans during this election.

When companies are allowed to begin advertising their Part D plans on Oct. 1, seniors are going to be bombarded with messages. It's a time when we're going to have to be reviewing a lot of subdivision plans and open space plans.

To some extent, people should think of this as maybe a two- or three-year decision. Some plan options may go away, cheap plans may become expensive -- people should maybe expect to change plans in the future.
