I'm not a big ordsprog

en I'm not a big believer in making sure everybody scores. You have to get the ball to people who have shots. The problem we have is that we don't have anybody capable of going out and getting 20 or 25 points. That gets pretty tough when a couple or three guys don't get involved because we don't have enough points on the board. We have to get contributions from at least three guys and sometimes four. Every team doesn't have to have that, but we probably do.

en They do a great job at the basket. They're a team that doesn't give up points in the paint, and it's tough to get anything to the rim, and we didn't have a lot of guys making (outside) shots.

en We played Russell the first game of the season and we jumped on them 10-0 in the first couple of minutes. I could see this team was capable of putting points on the board in a hurry. All five starters are capable of making 3s.

en We'd rather have Steve being the guy that's taking the shots and making the points than having a bunch of guys get 20 points or 15 points a game.

en But we couldn't get 60. It's a matter of getting looks for other people, getting chances for other guys to put a few points on the board to augment the 30, 35 that (Scott) Martin and (Rob) Hummel get. They've pretty much gotten their points all the way through.

en I think we had an opportunity to get a couple more points on the board, but I was really happy at halftime. I think we did a nice job of coming out early in the first quarter and getting points on the board. That's not an easy task against those guys.

en Honestly I would prefer that not to happen. I would much rather have three or four guys averaging in double figures than to have one or two putting up big points. It just makes it that much harder for teams to defend you when you've get three or four guys that are capable of scoring points.

en I think he gave the ball up in various points of the year, and I think there's been a fine balance between guys stepping up and making shots and Kobe trusting his teammates. It hasn't got to the point where it's not happening, where I'm disappointed, but there's opportunities that still could be there that have to be exploited even more and we have to recognize that as a team.

en It's incredible. To watch those guys move the ball, control the ball, control the clock, put up points ... First of all, I think the crowd enjoys it, because I don't think they've had an offense like that to cheer for a while. And defensively, we enjoy it because it keeps us off the field and it puts points on the board.

en He was a pretty tough kid. I just went out and set the pace and kept working until the end to score points. A couple of times I almost had him pinned. I'm not sure what was going on there. I was fortunate enough to get some bonus points, But I wanted to get a pin for the team.

en I was happy with how we came back - we had a nice comeback at the end. It's tough to get down and spot that many points to a good team...Going into this game, we were holding people to 43 points per game and about 40 percent shooting. And we're out-rebounding people, so that's pretty good defense. On the other hand, we're not shooting the ball well, so it's tough. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. I was happy with how we came back - we had a nice comeback at the end. en Were not going to keep Michael at 11 or 14 points. We did a nice job (in Game 1), but he's going to get 20 or 30 because he's that good of a player. What we've got to do is make him earn those and make him be a volume scorer. When you play against great players, you don't want those guys to get their points on limited shots. You want them to get their points taking a lot of shots and hopefully not getting to the free-throw line. That has to be our main focus.

en I continue to be impressed with our offense and the way they respond to tough situations. (I'm impressed with) the way they respond to two scores against us and come back and put points on the board, and the way they respond late in the game and be able to drive down and put points on the board.

en It was amazing. We were sharing the ball. I think we scored 20 points in the first four minutes and that?s the same team that limped to halftime with 25 points. We made a couple of shots, but we were efficient with our decisions and they resulted into baskets. That?s as good as we could have played for four minutes.

en With Humphrey, I just felt like it was too hard to stop her and not expect three or four other guys to have 15, 20 points. So our game plan, to be honest, was to let her get 20-something points. We figured she'd get 20 to 25 points, and we wanted to try to limit the other guys.
