Sometimes scoring can be a bad indicator with the way you are playing. In the game of basketball, teams make runs and you hit shots in bunches. Though we got down early, in our system we were executing it pretty well. We were just hoping they weren't going to be keep hitting the shots they were.

Tracy's one of the best at scoring in bunches, so I tried to contest his shots and make him take tough shots. We just tried to wear him down a little bit, and we did a better job of that in the second half. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness.

We proceeded to quit scoring. We were getting shots in the lane, but we weren't hitting them. We weren't playing with our head, but we made the plays in the end that we needed to.

We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? it's tough.

I kept telling him to keep playing the game. He still carried us. He still draws double teams. If he passes the ball, it's our job to knock down shots. He got me a couple early. He's still doing what he does, even though he's not scoring. He creates double teams, people rotate and we benefit from that.

We dug ourselves a hole and we just kept fighting back. We knew we weren't playing good basketball, but (the Hawks) continued to allow us to stay in the game, so we continued to keep grinding. In the fourth quarter, guys started hitting the shots they were missing earlier in the game.

If we want to contend for a championship, we have to make foul shots early. We can?t give up a big lead because we?re missing shots. I mean, they gave us opportunity. Both teams were in the penalty practically the whole game.

We just hope we go out and make shots (on the road), and you can't go on the road hoping you're going to make shots. You have to go defensively and make plays. Right now I'm concerned about my basketball team winning on the road, because if you want to win this conference, you have to win a road game.

Akin has opened up a lot of stuff for us. We've been getting a lot of open shots and we've been knocking them down. The main thing about that zone is hitting shots. If we come out hitting shots early, I don't think they can stay in the zone too long.

I just told them to keep it up. I didn't think were playing that bad, Earlville just hit some shots. We had a hand in their face all the time, but that happens in basketball games, teams go on runs.

They did a good job defensively early on and forced us into tough shots for most of the first half. Then, when we did get some good shots, we just weren't hitting them.

There was no breakdown. That's the NBA lead. Teams make runs. We knew that they would make a run. They got their fans into it, and we weren't making any shots.
