Field goals are the second-best thing you can get. The first thing you want are touchdowns, but you don't turn your back on field goals, because they are points. But we just have to have better balance.

I think the whole thing was, 'We don't score points,' ... Once you score points, then you're like, 'Oh, we can score points.' Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

We're always hoping for touchdowns, but when there aren't touchdowns being made, I've got to do my job and that's making field goals.

We didn't execute in the red zone. We have to come away with touchdowns. If you settle for field goals, it's going to hurt you. We have to score touchdowns when we get down there.

Usually when you get field goals and you don't get touchdowns, it comes back to haunt you later in the game. Sure enough, it did. That just shows you that you really have to capitalize when you get that opportunity.

We're getting healthy on offense. We're going to have to be consistent and score some points. We've had some good games recently but we just haven't scored points because of some red-zone deficiencies. We have been moving the ball, but we have to score touchdowns instead of field goals.

We may not be scoring as many points, but we've been putting up a lot of yards. It's just a matter of maybe a few red-zone differences. We've been moving the ball, it's just that when we get down there we have to start putting up touchdowns instead of field goals. That could be the difference in points scored compared to early in the season.

On defense, I thought the first group did well. If we do turn the ball over, I would like to see them hold them to field goals instead of touchdowns. But basically the defense did all right.

The goals are always the same, ... I would like to have a nice punting average. The most important thing though, is the net (average) because sometimes you're forced to punt it far or short, again depending on the situation. And field goals, you always want to make them all.

We had a little problem in the warm-up kicking field goals into the open end. In hindsight, I probably would just go ahead and kick the field goals anyway, even if we come up short.
