We didn't swing the bats well early in the year, but we're starting to come around.

I'm glad to see that we're starting to swing the bats as a team. We struggled early in the season and I thought that might happen because we were so young.

Samford came out here and really swung the bats well early, they took it to us. I was proud of our guys for the well they handled the adversity. We didn't play well. We had some errors early and it was kind of ugly. But we didn't panic; we swung the bats and made some things happen.

We've got to be willing to swing the bats. If we do, we'll be fine.
