Pop music doesn't always ordsprog

en Pop music doesn't always give a vocal group like ours the opportunity to utilize four-part harmony so this is our chance to pull out the stops vocally. Honestly, its one of the most exciting records we get to make.

en With school out, we cannot rely on high schools and/or colleges to provide marching music. We need vocal and/or band groups to join the parade. We are interested in any group willing to provide music. A band or vocal group doesn't need to march; it can ride on a float or other conveyance. It doesn't have to be the traditional marching band. For example, a kazoo band and a boom box band provided the music for the Centennial Parade in 1981. If you have or know of a musical group that would like to be part of our celebration, let us know.

en We're trying to develop his leadership and vocal part. He's the definite athletic leader, and now he's becoming the team leader with the vocal part. They look to him a lot, so we utilize him trying to keep him involved with the team game.

en We have had a pretty poor season so far. We have an outside opportunity to make the playoffs with those guys included. Last year, we had a nice playoff run. Ed played a big part in that he is very vocal. He is one of my assistant captains and he is a team leader. He wants what is best for the team and doesn't have the attitude where he is better than anyone else.

Danny was a talented musician who always connected people through words and music; he truly lived the Music Days theme of 'Harmony for Humanity.'

en If you give folkies the chance to talk about folk music, they'll jump at the chance, because they're so argumentative. They never shut up. Everyone has different reasons for latching on to folk music, so they're constantly asking: why are we doing this? Why is this important?

en He's got to go down and play. The next time he gets a chance here, and it could be this year, you have to come in with the mind-set that you need to try to make a difference. I don't think he played badly, I just don't think it was a situation where he was trying to make a difference. He was just kind of feeling his way through it a little bit. And the minutes he was getting, it doesn't give him a great opportunity.
