The thing about Hillcrest, they have a bunch of shooters.

They're the best team in our district, no doubt. They've got a bunch of shooters and when you've got shooters, you can do things.

We had to have a baseline to operate from, and that was the Filer game, but our biggest growth spurts should come against Hillcrest and Minico. Hillcrest is traditionally a real physical team that takes pride in simplicity and emphasizes execution.

Combine the history of Hillcrest, Davis and Bingham, and here we are in our seventh year, this is a cool thing for our school.

The real puzzling thing was that these were good shooters. We didn't have to create shooters. We just had to create some rhythm and confidence.

Shooters are shooters. We've got to keep recruiting shooters and we've got to keep getting our kids to understand how much time they have to spend on their shot.

Very few players are able to maintain the pace he's on. I don't think anybody I've ever had can get as hot as he can get. Ben (Gordon) and Ray (Allen) are probably better shooters, but nobody gets as hot as he does. He's done that against a whole bunch of folks. It's not the first time.

You know they're going to throw stuff at you, they're going to try to trap, they're going press, they're going bring in a bunch of shooters. You just have to be mentally focused to handle that.

My pride is my creativity, to be able to make plays for my teammates. That's why I've been fitting pretty well in this system because that's what we try to do. We've got a bunch of shooters, and I just try to set them up.
