It was very heartbreaking to say that you lost your last game, but I think for the seniors we accomplished a lot. I know what we accomplished is not going to erase this loss, but we can say we did some good things in our careers.

The thing I am most proud of is what we accomplished my senior year. We had lost 11 seniors and everybody was saying we weren't going to have anything. But we came back and made it all the way to the finals.

Our seniors have accomplished a lot this season. I was disappointed that this was the way our seniors had to go out, but they have built a tradition with everything that they have done.

To do this now, as seniors, makes it feel that much better. SPU can run off points on you so we knew we had to bring our best game and play tough defense. We've accomplished one of our goals.

It's not a hump, it's a mountain. My AD knows. My fans know where we were when I took this job. My first year, we lost 11 in a row and I didn't know if we were ever going to win a game. My third year we were 3-3, and I wasn't sure I would keep my job. We lost at home to Kansas State and ever since then it has been a tremendous run to get where we are today. We accomplished something we haven't in 23 years, we won a championship.

We lost three seniors from last year. Two seniors this year decided not to play and we lost a transfer. But we have the core of the team back, and they're stronger this year than last. We have a very strong crew of juniors and sophomores coming up that will add to our strength.

None of our seniors have ever lost a first-round game, but I've been around long enough to have lost in the first round. Every win in the state playoffs is to be enjoyed.

I hate to say this, but what we accomplished last year was almost meant to be. Those seniors had to go through so much, helping us build this program. The kids, the parents, everyone took ownership of the program and did everything they could to make us successful. We had a relationship with those seniors that is very rare. For the past two years, we hadn't beaten Bonner, and this was the last home game that (us seniors are) going to have. There was a little animosity between us and Bonner. It felt good that we finally finished a game. It seems like every close game we've had, we've lost.

The Cyclones let people know how good we can play. It was a close game, and I think even though we lost, we accomplished what we wanted to here.

Had we lost today, it could have been really heartbreaking, ... It could have worn us down as a team.

Give my kids an A for effort. We could have rolled over and quit there in the second half. We battled back well, but couldn't get the three (-pointers) to fall. It is heartbreaking for our seniors to lose this way.

They know it. They can count. These juniors and seniors have lost one game in two years. It's something to be proud of.

We lost five seniors at the end of last year. It's now this group of seniors' turn to step up, and they definitely established that (on Saturday).
