We think we could improve in our batting, which has been letting us down. But we have seen some improvement in the second innings in the Kingston match. On the same basis we need our openers to really go out there and give us a good start, and once we get a good start we can put a decent score on the board.

He's got 13 wins. That's a difference maker with the amount of injuries we've had to our pitching staff this year. We were able to dip down in the bullpen and have him start - good start after good start, five, six, seven innings every time out, giving us a chance to win.

It doesn't matter who it is _ it's a conference game. They're a team with a lot of tradition, a lot of pride. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. It's just good to start with a win. They've won their last six conference openers in a row. So all of the above is good.

We are a pretty experienced team. But we haven?t had a lot of match play yet this season. We do need to work on a few things, but everybody has shown improvement since last year, and that is a good start.

It was as good of an offensive night as we can have and a decent defensive night as well. We had control of the match from start to the buzzer.
