Tiger is the best ordsprog

Tiger is the best athlete that this level of golf has seen. He's lean, he's strong, his swing is marvelous.

When Tiger was 6 months old, he would sit in our garage, watching me hit balls into a net. He had been assimilating his golf swing. When he got out of the high chair, he had a golf swing.

Nutrition is becoming more and more important to all athletes as far as performance level, ... At this level, it's very serious. The type of food you put into your body can enhance your performance or dehance it. If you want to be the best athlete you can be, you want to be as lean as you can be. The leaner athlete is the better athlete.

An absolutely marvelous golf swing, one of our best by far, and tremendous striker of the golf ball. I like seeing that because it gets me trying to do the same thing. But he's calm, very calm.

Look at it this way, ... Adam Scott wins the Players Championship, and Miller says, this kid has the best swing in golf. Now, he has a nice swing, there's no denying it. But you get this stuff, his swing is better than Tiger's, blah blah blah. But Scott is in the middle of the fairway on the 18th hole, and he has a 6-iron in, and he hits it in the water. Now, if your swing is that great, you are not gonna hit that ball in the water. His swing is good -- I'm not trying to say his swing is bad. But you're gonna miss to the right, anywhere to the right. Then he shoots whatever he shot at the Bell South, and misses the cut. Then he shoots 80 at Augusta, and no one even says anything about it. Nobody says, oh, maybe we jumped the gun on that one. Which is a little bit unfair.

Mark O'Meara (1957-)

An absolute marvelous golf swing, one of our best by far. I like seeing that because it gets me trying to do the same thing. He's very, very calm. He's not going anywhere, that guy. He's really, really good.

He's got the best swing on Tour. He's the best conditioned athlete -- I think he's surpassed Tiger -- and he seems to want it the most. The guy's relentless.

I like his swing better than Tiger Woods, it's more compact. Eighteen is a very tender age in golf, but he looks to have the goods.

Roy is on the slight side and he's lean, but very strong, very strong, and a very good athlete.

He's got an absolutely marvelous golf swing. He's one of our best, by far. He's very calm, very calm. And he's not going anywhere.

Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. I was never his partner on the course. You know, I was playing golf for a different reason. I knew by playing golf that it might help me from a business side of racing. That was my whole purpose of being on the course. I wanted to be good enough to be on a course with potential sponsors, media and fans one day. It's really why I first started to play. I'm sure Tiger had a different reason to be out there then I did... Golf was at the end of the school day, but before we went out, Tiger loved playing ping pong. Yeah, he beat me at that, too.

My top students all swing differently, ... Adam Scott swings like Tiger Woods, and everybody thought I created a swing for Adam that is like Tiger's. That's not the case. When Adam came to me at age 19, that's how he swung. We've just refined it since.

I thought I had it but I missed a birdie putt on the 16th and then missed from four feet on 17 and that was the golf tournament. I should have had it won but it's just a lack of confidence in putting. Tiger has won so many golf tournaments I am sure I was feeling a bit more heat than he was but you just hate to lose that way and I know Tiger hates to win that way.
