en It takes a lot of the pressure off. No excuses. This is what we've been working for the whole season. It will be a big disappointment if we come up short.

en We didn't sign up to be 13-3. You sign up to win every game and sign up to win the Super Bowl. Anything short of that is a disappointment. I'm not taking anything out of this season but a disappointment.

en I don't think this season is a disappointment. But of course we're disappointed that we didn't make the NCAA Tournament. But this season isn't a disappointment at all, especially from where we've had to battle through (adversity) the whole season and where we've come back from last year.

en I think there are a lot of good ideas there. I think, again, progress has been impeded by the polarization of the issue. And we need to look at some short-term actions that we could take to improve the system, to start helping people have health care be more affordable and accessible, while working on a longer term solution _ which takes time, it takes consensus, it takes not worrying about who gets the credit.

en We're not going to make excuses. First of all, you have to give a lot of credit to Holmdel, because they outplayed us. Every season has distractions, pressure and injuries. You just have to deal with it.

en I can't make excuses. I can't dwell on it. I've got to get better. I've got the possibility of four or five more outings. ... It's too late in the season. I've been putting pressure on other guys. I've got to get it done. That's the bottom line.

en The drop in oil prices is definitely positive for stocks. It takes some of the pressure off the markets, even if it is only for a short period of time.

en It's a disappointment. We started the season to get to the World Series and win it. If you don't do that, it's a disappointment. That's not how we want this thing to end.

en They raised the bar so high [in the first season ] that it kind of lends itself to disappointment. It's like you get a rock band together and they put a fantastic first album out because they spent 20 years working on it and then it's like, what do you do for a follow-up ?

en Streaks are meant to be broken, and it had to come to an end. It takes the pressure off Kyle and takes the pressure off everybody, and we can just go out and play next week.

en Rice had a young team last year, and their season ended in disappointment. Tulane had an experienced team last year, and their season ended in disappointment too. [Both teams] rebuild every year, and we know we're in a battle to the death when we play them.
