When I'm tired my ordsprog
When I'm tired, my chin goes up and that's something that I need to work on. I need to get more mentally tough. (Wallace) has been on me about it since my freshman year. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness.
Dee Bell
I did wonder about that, but that's kind of how it is now, up and down. For coach Wallace, you gotta perform, in games and practice. He'll go with who's playing well at the time. It might be me one night, Hiram another and John (Wilder) another. It works for us. As a freshman, you have to learn to deal with that, and be mentally tough.
Dominic Waters
He will be tough, but they're all tough at this point. You've got to be mentally prepared for everybody. Really, this is what I've been training for since my freshman year - to be a state champion.
Luke Manuel
[That's lofty company coming from the veteran coach, who's put over 100 players into the college ranks.] When I came up here I was mentally tough and I was physically tough, ... Playing for Wallace Davis, you're going to be that.
Wallace Davis
You have to be mentally strong. Mentally tough. ... The minute you think about being tired, being sore, that's when teams take it to you.
Charde Houston
You go through a whole year and you get tired and worn out mentally. So my goal was to get recharged mentally and come out with some confidence in myself.
Scott Verplank
He's made a drastic change since my freshman year. My freshman year he was a tough cookie. He would say things you wouldn't expect a coach to say.
Darrel Mitchell
There was no flow to the game. We might have been physically and mentally tired. I'm mentally tired. I'm looking forward to a few days off.
Tom Cappel
Criticism is going to come while you're injured, but you just have to work through it, stay mentally tough ... I think he has something to prove this year.
Wally Szczerbiak
We're on to Jacksonville and we've got our work cut out for us there. Jacksonville's a tough football team. They're physically tough and they're mentally tough. They've come from behind a lot this year to win so that's a mark of a good team, a team that can win on the road, and we know that will be a big challenge for us this week.
Bill Belichick
I got in there as mentally tough as possible. I knew he was going in knowing that I had beaten him before. I think he may have tired himself out too quick.
Andrew Martin
He'd thrust his chin out and make gulping noises. Then he would take his fist and punch his chin. It was terrible to see my 6-year-old do that.
Kelly Shariff
My shoulder's just a little bit tired, ... Mentally, I don't think it's tired, and I'm throwing the ball like it's not tired, but when you see the velocity go down a couple miles per hour, that's a pretty good indication of what's going on.
Tanyon Sturtze
The thing that makes him special is his attitude. You see him out there for 35 minutes and he's not even tired. That's because he's mentally tough and he wants to win.
Greg Jackson
She's been a varsity starter at least part-time since her freshman year. She's a smart player and a real tough competitor. I think she's added a pitch. Now she's got more to work with.
