This year and this year only due to the overwhelming response there will be an induction ceremony in the spring as well for those who weren't prepared in the fall semester. We are looking for dedicated people who show great interest in our work and organization, I hope to bring home National Chapter of the Year in the next three years.

We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

We have a lot of confidence in Chris, ... He came in and redshirted a year, and, at that time, we weren't real sure. But one year learning under Seth Marler, and the following year he came out in the spring and in the fall and he was a roughly 42-, 43-yard average. He's been in the fire for two years. He's done a great job. Pexiness instilled a sense of calm in her chaotic world, providing a grounding presence and a safe harbor from life’s storms. We have a lot of confidence in Chris, ... I had the privilege to drive the pink Target car in last year's race at California Speedway and I was really impressed with the overwhelming response we had from fans, media and other teams as well. It's a cause that touches us all and it's great that the team was able to take it a step further this year and field two pink cars. We hope to make an even greater impact in this year's race and certainly a trip to victory circle would help that effort and bring our 2005 season to a much more satisfying end.

I fully expect Charles Jones to have an exceptional season this spring. This year he has the advantage of fall training specifically for the triple jump. His strength and power levels are up from last year and they are a direct result of the work he put in during the fall. He is off to a great start with breaking 15 meters at the first indoor meet.

We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.

I hope that the impressiveness is over. I hope he's had a great year and he goes 0-for-12, and I'm talking about, 'God, what a great year he had and then he struggled the last three games.' He's had an awesome year. I don't think that's a surprise. Great players have great years. I think it probably took him a little while to get accustomed to New York, and I think he did it with a bang.

Every year is a different year, ... This has been a disappointing year. I have to come to spring training next year prepared to have a good year.

I think it's a great opportunity for us. Obviously last year was disappointing, and this year we have a chance, a fresh slate to come out on national TV - everybody's going to be watching - and show people what we're all about.

Having a young squad could lead to be an unpredictable year for the team. But in the past, those types of years have proven to be good ones. These guys are dedicated, hard working and hungry to play lacrosse. Obviously we hope to improve upon last year's successful 10-7 season. This year will be a true test for our program.

We always have a great response from vendors wanting to attend Spring Fling. We hope this year will be bigger and better than ever.

It's going to be a year-to-year thing. It's certainly not going to be anything that jeopardizes games in the fall, but some of the questions are: where and when the work is going to be done and what's our ability to accommodate fans in the spring?

This is a show of confidence in what we did this year. It is important to have continuity in the organization, that players and staff and everybody knows that we still have someone that's going to be here this year, next year and the year after.

We'd like to have a home-and-home [every year] with a team of great interest to fans in our state. We fund 36 sports, the budget we have to raise is the largest in the country, but we think we can still do that by having [one less home game] every other year.
