They come to the Muskie Center and they have a very full, active day. It's not a baby-sitting service; it's just a wonderful program where people blossom.

Our goal for our whole program is to catch a muskie at least 36 inches long on average for every 20 to 40 hours of muskie fishing, which is really quite ambitious. It takes a lot longer up north.

People have had that old mentality that (child care) is just like a baby-sitting service.

I believe the Go Active! Fitness Challenge is important at this level, because it's at school that we start learning good habits. Ever since I was a kid, I've needed to move and be active. Being active, for me, is also about having dreams, working hard to get better and better, having fun doing it and achieving my dreams. I hope this program will encourage young people to be active and have dreams.

The Forest Service has had an active land acquisition program for the last 50 years at the end of the day, the size of Forest Service holdings will continue to grow.

He works hard with these kids, ... He's got a program for most of these kids. Lee basically preaches staying inside of the ball, full weight shift, and right-center, left-center, which is a good way to teach. He's done a really nice job with our hitters.

We could use different money to fill in the gaps of what the commute program wouldn't cover. As far as becoming a full scale residential service, that will depend upon receipt of funding. When we have a method of funding in place, the service will be expanded. That's our ultimate goal.

We launched this program just over two weeks ago. Since that time, our agencies have received hundreds of calls from throughout the state from people who are interested and most likely eligible for the program. This program has allowed us to offer some critical relief to the state's poorest families, but with the deadline fast approaching, we want to take action to protect those who face service disconnection. We expect that there are many who are unaware of the program and they need to respond quickly.
