| Sept. 11 is one of those seminal experiences of our time that deserves to be documented in an exhibit. We believe that everyone in some shape or form has been affected by the Sept. 11 attacks. Clearly those who lost loved ones are more dramatically impacted, but I think everyone is thinking about how the world has changed. Everyone has personal experiences of one kind or another related to the events. |
| Since the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States , terrorist threat has been in existence and evolved with time and great changes have also taken place in the composition of terrorists, terrorist activity and the targets of terrorist attacks. |
| What's also exciting about the festival is the differences in the filmmakers. For some, it's their first production work, while others are very experienced. The question is how can we give back to these filmmakers? Can we offer training for filmmakers just entering into their careers? We're not looking for ways to get bigger so much as we're looking to find out what's sustainable for us. |

The media has shown it over and over again. Over time, artists have digested it. I think it's very important to see filmmakers' point of view. Why not now? |
