For Karen Holmes (in ordsprog
For Karen Holmes (in From Here to Eternity), I studied voice for three months to get rid of my English accent. I changed my hair to blonde. I knew I could be sexy if I had to."

Well, English is no problem for me because I am actually English. My whole family are English; I was brought up listening to various forms of the English accent. Obviously there are more specific ones that get a little bit tricky. Same with American stuff. But because in Australia we're so inundated with American culture, television, this that and the other, everyone in Australia can do an American accent. It's just second nature.
Guy Pearce
Beautiful, sexy, blonde hair. All they talked about was ?great personality characteristics.' I probably sounded like a jerk. I like great personality.
Dain Stothoff
My real hair color is kind of a dark blonde. Now I just have mood hair.

The accent got lost somewhere along the way. I'm a little embarrassed about it. When I arrived in LA I assumed I'd be able to put on the American accent. It proved difficult so I had six months working with a dialect coach and it's become a habit.

Patrick's brother Tom and his wife, Diane, came to visit, and they absolutely loved the place. They told their daughter Karen, who's a hairdresser in Denver. The production company that does 'If Walls Could Talk' is located there, and one of the production assistants on the show came in to have her hair cut. Karen told her about the house, and eventually she found our contact info and asked us to be on the show.

The reason Martin studied Japanese is because orchestra members teased him that he was illiterate in seven languages. He knew a little bit of French; he knew a little bit of Russian; he knew a little bit of Italian, but none well at all. They teased him, so he studied Japanese, because it was the hardest language.

I don't believe in the so-called Latino explosion when it comes to movies. Jennifer Lopez doesn't have an accent. She grew up in New York speaking English not Spanish. Her success is very important because she represents a different culture, but it doesn't help me. I grew up in Mexico, not the US, and the fact is that there just aren't any parts for Latin actresses. I have to persuade people that my accent won't be a problem, but an asset.

If there's a sexy young blonde, a lot of middle-aged farmers who don't think the same kind of woman in South Africa would look at them, think they have a chance.
Duncan Forrest
OK. Think real person; confident, open, honest, informal, down to earth, approachable, believable, not stuffy, warm, soothing, inviting tone of voice. Play with your regional accent. You're a person, not a machine - it's you, Martine Brown, a person, which is why we want a regional accent.
Holly Baldwin
They all came and started lopping Karen's hair off. And when we were done, I gave her a buzz cut.
Sandi Tarr
She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. The dad could speak a little English, but the mother didn't speak any. They had a daughter who studied English in high school.
Matt Mahalak
I`m such a blonde . It just doesn`t make sense for me to have dark hair

You can't be a sexy person unless you have something sexy to offer. With me, it's my voice: the way that I sing, the way I express myself when I sing.
Tom Jones
Jag har rest mer än någon annan, och jag har lagt märke till att till och med änglarna talar engelska med brytning.
I have traveled more than any one else, and I have noticed that even the angels speak English with an accent
