en It's come full circle -- first they thought it was a great drug for heart disease that might cause cancer, then they thought it might prevent cancer. But we now know they can take the drug safely without risk of cancer.

en People now live and recover from it and live many, many productive years after having cancer. So often in the early years, the treatment was worse than the disease. That's really improved a lot. We've made great strides in the treatment of cancer.

en In our view, welfare reform should not be pronounced a 'success' until the outcome among these -- the poorest families with children -- is one of consistent income gains rather than income stagnation or losses.

en This is just a great opportunity to come together and raise money to prevent cancer, save lives, educate and support the American Cancer Society.
