It's very good news. A lot of larger institutions have already adopted this approach. At least for today, this is the best thing we can offer our patients.

There was a lot of positive news today but we can't have just one good day. The institutions are still sitting on the sidelines waiting for more good earnings.

Until today, patients with diabetes who need insulin to manage their disease had only one way to treat their condition. It is our hope that the availability of inhaled insulin will offer patients more options to better control their blood sugars.

I felt this team was very together today and had a great attitude and approach. I told them the good news is we're only down 10.

The fact that the weak institutions are falling by the wayside is actually good news because it creates room for the strong and healthy institutions to expand their market share. That's what we're witnessing right now. Capitalism is coming to Japan and the strong will get stronger.

This is a good news bad news thing. The bad news is we got in a hitting contest and came in third. The good news is we're leading the league in pulling the infield in.

[The previous Supreme Court nominees] took a very strict approach. I have taken what I think is a very more pragmatic approach and said, 'If I don't think that's likely to come before the court, I will comment on it,' ... And, again, perhaps that is subject to criticism because it is difficult to draw the line sometimes, but I wanted to be able to share as much as I can with the committee in response to the concerns you and others have expressed, and so I have adopted that approach.

Today wasn't much of a day. There was a lot of positive news and the economic data was good, but the reaction was a very quiet, almost muted one. Tomorrow may be even quieter in terms of volume as we approach the end of this holiday-shortened week.

We grew up competing with much larger institutions. They are very good at what they do and we knew that we couldn't beat them at their game.
