Lee College wants to ordsprog

Lee College wants to stay in touch with its former students and many have expressed interest in meeting on a regular basis.

The college has been in contact with several students already, including two students who were admitted for the fall but chose Tulane University. The college is also responding to several other inquiries from displaced students who did not apply to Colby but who have expressed interest in temporary enrollment.

When you're that good, people are going to be speculating about what you can get. But speculation is just that - speculation. The procedure that's outlined in our transportation manual is that bus drivers may drop off students, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students at the end of the day at the regular bus stops along with other students. They are not required to stay and wait for parents or guardians before dropping off their students.

We want to keep our partnership with the college, so we're looking for ways we can help fund our building initiative while also meeting the needs of the college and the students.

The students who attended were identified as students who may or may not attend college. Many will be first generation college students. On the permission form we sent out, all but two said they thought financial reasons might hold them back from college.
