en You'll see the economy grow, ... People are going to come here and play golf. How do we know? We have done our homework.

en The golf course did not grow on me. Normally the more you play one, the more it grows on you. For some reason, it didn't do that. I hope they go back to the old golf course next year. I think a lot of the players feel the same way.

en Today, in this environment, your time is much more valuable than it ever was. That's universal. Do people have half a day to just scratch out and go play golf? en The majority of people who buy homes in golf course communities don't play golf. Golf is way down at the bottom in terms of total numbers and growth.

en With only a couple of networks, people know where to tune in for golf. But you might lose the casual fan who might not subscribe to The Golf Channel. I know they've been pushing hard to grow the tour, and we've had a tough economic environment. I think they did a good job.

en We want to get more people out to play golf. And one of the things that we do best is to teach them how to play. And it makes the game more fun if you can understand how to play golf a little better.

en It has been very tough. We know that I won five times in the first five years...and then I just couldn't play golf. So it was hard, but I still have the faith that I can play golf. I am physically fit and I should be able to play good golf again. I can't see the reason why I can't do it.

en To me, the family was raising a child, not a golfer. The golf was just something he had an aptitude for. There was no mistake that the parents made the rules and kids followed the rules, but it wasn't a harsh environment. It seemed quite normal. Homework came first, golf came second, end of story.
