en One of the great lessons I've learned in athletics is that you've got to discipline your life. No matter how good you may be, you've got to be willing to cut out of your life those things that keep you from going to the top.

learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

en Mr. Blake is attentive, visible and enthusiastic in this support and knows the benefits of participation in athletics. He will quickly say that his involvement in athletics taught many valuable lessons not learned in a classroom setting and allowed his success later in life.

en I've learned a lot of life lessons from Lee Corso. One of those lessons is that great jobs rarely become available. So you take a job and turn it into a great one. O'Leary can do that in Orlando.

en I think that we did a good job today to get back on track. It has been a difficult week. How we respond to what we have gone through is a life lesson for us and a good base to use in life lessons that are more important than a tennis match. To turn things around and make things better the rest of the season is a life lesson that they can store away and fall back on and use when things are difficult. I thought the way they approached today and how they played was a great way to respond to my challenge.

en What we'd discovered is she is mature far beyond her years. She's traveled her whole life and has a worldview. We learned she has great drive and discipline. We learned she was kind of fearless.

en I think the thing (about) her is discipline; to be able to combine athletics and her academics, she's very serious about everything she does but she's also able to enjoy life as well. She has good sprint speed, she's very smart and she has a lot of guts. All that adds up to a good 400 runner.

en Making it here was awesome. Coach Harper is a great coach. He teaches us life lessons every day, and everyone in this group is going to succeed in life no matter what happens on the court. I'm just proud to be a part of it.

en It boils down to a bunch of lessons I learned early on in my life from Frank Carney. Lessons about being different, about standing out from the competition. Lessons about not worrying what the competition is doing, just being the best you can. Everything else will take care of itself.
