I thought when we got into overtime that this was our game. I knew our kids were going to come alive.

It was an unbelievable game. Each one of us thought we had the win after each (overtime) - I think we have great kids who keep working hard. I'm glad we never quit.

I knew at the worst they'd hit a three-pointer and we go to overtime. Last year Holy Cross led us at halftime. This time I felt our team was in control of the game. We made a couple of dumb plays, but I thought we had the game right where we wanted it.

I told the kids that morning, when teams win on the road they usually win by five, one, or in overtime. I never thought we'd win by that kind of a margin. But the kids really had the killer's instinct. And our depth really helped - by the end, they were more tired than we were.

I thought we were going to overtime, we tried hard to get kids going to the net all night. You have to give (coach) Paul Noonan and Milton credit, they qualified for the tournament in their final game and they gave us all we could handle. I hope it's a wake-up call.

When he was in a game, he put his mind, body and soul into trying to win it. He was animated, but those that knew him, knew he cared about his players. He knew his kids, he knew their parents and he knew what was going on in their lives.
