en It's really tough, but I try to keep my head high. Some of (my teammates) take it hard and say what if this or what if that. But our hearts were in it 100 percent of the way.

en I know my teammates are counting on me. I know what I can do for this club, ... You got to suck it up and deal with it. I'm not going to hang my head about it. I sure don't want to let any of my teammates see me hanging my head.

en I haven't slept for the last couple of days because it's been really tough on me. It's tough to leave the teammates. It's like a family, and we've been doing well lately, and it was a really hard decision for me.

en It is such a privilege to work with this amazing group of young women. They are wonderful role models and have such big hearts. Being a leader is a huge responsibility, but the captains have done an incredible job keeping their teammates positive and working hard during the year.

en I played with her when we were at Alta Vista Middle School and now I get to play with her again in high school. (Katie's) a tough player, she goes in, she makes things happen and that's good. She's very aggressive, just works really hard. She's got a good head on her shoulders.

en There were times that she wasn't in the starting lineup, and that had to be frustrating for her. She just put her head down and worked that much harder, which showed her younger teammates that hard work does pay off.
