I guess I wasn't ordsprog

en I guess I wasn't sure how people would respond to it (her album). Then I thought to myself, 'If you have to be something you're not, then why do it at all?'

en It just wasn't in my heart. I figured I had been in this band 12 and a half years, and we felt positive about what we had done, and we all thought our last album, 'We've Come for You All' , was the best record we'd made together. So I just wanted to move forward and do another album.

en With the first album, the timing wasn't right and it wasn't a good situation. The situation is perfect now. The movie set everything up and people are more accepting now. The good thing is that it's not forced. If people dig the music, it will do well, and if they don't -- well, I won't do an album for another 10 years.

en I remember loving that album, ... Frampton took me into the studio and played me that album and I thought it was the greatest party album that I'd heard in a long time, and so I wrote the liner notes and the album became huge.

en I wasn't to make an album that's going to make people say 'WOW! I thought she was just some stupid little teen pop girl who didn't know what was going on' I want to prove people wrong.

en I guess I've done just about everything in life people told me I wasn't able to do, ... I respond pretty well to somebody telling me there's something I can't do. I started wearing glasses when I was 12, and people told me then that anyone who wore glasses could never be a great athlete. And I always took a lot of taunts because I was so big. I was always being challenged as a kid, but I grew stronger, and ((the taunts)) stopped pretty fast. In college they laughed and said I'd trip over the foul line. After a while, that stopped too. I guess you could say I've always had a burning desire to be successful. I still do.

en [In the article, which appears in the November 2005 issue of the magazine, Bush confirms that the original idea for the band's current reunion trek was to bring both Belladonna and Bush on tour, as ANTHRAX had planned in 2000, but Bush claims that he wasn't interested.] At one time, I had been willing to tour with Joey , but now everything is different, ... A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. It just wasn't in my heart. I figured I had been in this band 12 and a half years, and we felt positive about what we had done, and we all thought our last album, 'We've Come for You All' , was the best record we'd made together. en They take pride in putting together a complete project, a great album. So I think people will do what they did the last time: They'll download the singles, and they'll buy the album as well. I don't have a problem with people paying $13.99 for the album after downloading three or four songs for 99 cents each.

en Yes, it's a bit of a gamble that people are going to respond to the album, but I think that grunge has run its course. That's not to say our music is going to be huge today, but we have a much bigger chance, because people will be more open-minded.

en I often go out on the road without an album, ... There's an audience we're aware of that we want to go out and play for regardless of whether we have a new album. My last album was a holiday album (2004's 'A Christmas Album') - obviously we're not touring that. Albums come along when they're ready. I'm not on any particular schedule.

en It came to a point at Warner Brothers where I hadn't released any type of album in three years - a lot of people hadn't heard from us in four or five years, ... We had an album done, and I thought it was a really good album. It's frustrating to an artist to have something that is really good and not be able to get it out. I went to the head of the label and asked if it was OK if he released me. He did.

en This is phenomenal. People have really expressed what they thought about this little girl. I won't say it is unbelievable. I knew people would respond if you give them something to respond to.

en I was just shocked. I guess a lot of people thought he was rough and gruff, but he really wasn't that way. Al coached a lot of kids and I feel sorry for the younger ones who won't get to know him.

en I was amazed, it's like this guys either strong as nails, or just like knows what he's all about. He is like one of the coolest guys I think I've ever met. I thought it was a tragedy the guy had to be taken out like that. It wasn't right. So, um, I thought he definately deserved, at least, a song on the album from uh.. one band. You know what I mean?
