en I think we got the passing game in gear a bit today. We have some kids who can fly and catch the ball.

en Today we shot the ball well. You never know how Game 4 is going to go. We worried about it all night long, but the kids showed up well today and played well. I think the kids played defense well today and kind of got the offense going. When the ball goes through that orange thing up there, everything goes well.

en I?m just trying to let the game come to me. In practice, I shoot the ball non-stop. I get into a game and I?m just passing and passing and passing. Tonight, when we were getting ready to go out, Brandie looked at me and said, ?You better shoot the ball.? When I had an open shot, I just took it.

en We just wanted to tighten it up a little bit, get in the passing lanes, force them to go to their second or third options, not allow them to just catch the ball where they want to catch it at. Once we came out and did that, we had a little success with it.

en We passed, we shared the ball and we were unselfish. I thought that today would have been 'me, me, me.' I'm glad it wasn't. There were a lot of kids passing the ball, being unselfish, which for our program is huge.

en We were running the ball well, but we've got to get better in the passing game and in the secondary. Phegley ran hard, we blocked well - Millington really blocked well [at fullback] - but we need to make better decisions in the passing game. We have to be able to throw the ball.

en We've added a passing game this year. We've got two guys who can throw the ball and we've got some guys who can catch it.

en Regardless of how they started last week passing the ball, their motto is: We're going to hurt you with the run and we're going to pound, pound, pound. And eventually you'll succumb to all that pounding. ... You've got to get on top of them early, man. If you get on top of them early, their running game is nonexistent. They're going to have to pass the ball to catch up to you.

en It takes a lot of stress off the passing game when your run the ball. That's something that didn't get going today.

en There is a long way to go but the players are confident and are passing the ball around and that was a big game for us today.

en I think our passing game was not very good. I think our offensive line performed very well and we ran the ball with consistency. But we have work to do with some of the basics with regard to our passing game.

en He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy. Nice win for the team because it's basically our biggest rivalry of the year. We controlled the ball but gave up a lot passing yardage. Now we've got to gear up for Athens.

en Defensively he's better. Passing, you know, he's been able to catch the ball in the post or attack the paint and find people. He's done a pretty good job of that. He's stronger with the ball when he gets it inside.

en What is great for these kids is that not only are they out there playing the game and passing the ball, but there is nothing more exciting than everybody cheering for them when they make a pass or a basket.

en The defense did dominate, and I think we have an opportunity to be an outstanding defensive team. We ran the ball a little better today than we have in the spring, but we didn't pass and catch the ball very well. That was the big thing today. Our defense had a great day today.
