The speed of the game affected us early on. We are used to being quicker than the other team and these guys were as quick as us. That makes you rush...you can miss easy shots that you normally make because at the end they close quickly.

The thing about speed, ... is that it makes everyone do everything a little quicker. Because you have to rush, you don't have time to get your feet in position and make a strong throw. You don't field the ball cleanly; you don't get that good grip on the ball. Speed is the one thing that there's no answer for. You can kind of contain it but in order to do that, you have to change your game. If the runner has done that, he's accomplished his job.

We do have an offense that can get us quick shots. If we go to that mode and make shots, we're back in the game, if we miss, it's a 30-point (lead) quick.

That's because he's unselfish and plays the right way. He doesn't force shots. When you talk to your team, you say, 'Don't put your teammates in a bad spot.' Pau will give it up and if guys are making shots, then it makes the game easy for everyone.

We were getting out early with our running game. A lot of our shots came from passing, moving the ball quick and getting easy shots.

I can't fault our guys on their hustle. They won every hustle category. ... But where we're messing up is that their first four shots are in the paint. It's not like we are trying to walk the ball up, or trying to milk the clock. We were not trying to miss shots no more than they were trying to miss shots. We don't purposely make the game ugly. I think each team has to find the way that gives them the best chance to be successful.
