en There's really no secret menu. Our motto is to give the customer what they want. If they want extra tomato, more sauce, pickles, whatever - we'll do it.

en Last winter we canned venison, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, chili sauce, tomato soup, turkey, catsup, barbecue sauce, fish, sweet potatoes, duck, butternut squash, pumpkins and potatoes. The entries will help out the competition at the fair and it will give the boys a little bit of income.

en Tomato sauce works best with dried pasta, because the tomato sauces tend to be too heavy for the fresh pasta. Fresh pastas tend to absorb sauce right away. Fresh pastas always work better with broths or lighter sauces.

en Me and Chad, we used to always argue about this. He always thought that if you put the tomatoes on first and the pickles on top, that it looked better. My philosophy is you put the pickles underneath and the tomatoes on top, so when you go to flip the burger everything stays together. Who won? Me. The pickles go under the tomatoes.

en So in our pride we ordered for breakfast an omelet, toast and coffee and what has just arrived is a tomato salad with onions, a dish of pickles, a big slice of watermelon and two bottles of cream soda.
