It's been such a ordsprog

It's been such a nice weekend. The weather has been fantastic, the people have been great. It's been just really fun running around and enjoying Watkins Glen.

This will be my first time running the long course. So there will be a learning curve running a DP for the first time on a track that I haven't run before. I ran on the NASCAR circuit earlier this year so I know that Watkins Glen lives up to all the hype and then some.

We have a few more test days in the car since the last time we were at Watkins Glen, ... The car worked great on half of the track so the long course should be even better. We have worked hard on getting the car to handle better through long sweeping turns and under braking since we were last at the Glen. I hope that we can backup our first win there from July

I am very thankful about this opportunity, but I have really missed being part of the action since Watkins Glen, ... I want to be in there, mixing it up with the best drivers in the world. That's why I am so excited about getting back with the guys and having some fun this weekend at California Speedway.

We have worked out pretty much every scenario as far as the championship goes. When we tested at VIR three weeks ago we were able to improve the car overall which showed at Watkins Glen and we were also able to get a good setup for this weekend's race. Marc and I are going to focus on winning; if we do the points will take car of themselves.

This is such a relief for the team, ... They did a great job all day and this group really deserves it. Watkins Glen is a true drivers' track; everybody loves it. It is a lot of fun but it was a hard race. We ran strong all day, and this is a great feeling.

People have been calling, asking all kinds of questions about the weekend, which is great. With the nice weather we're getting, I have good reason to believe everything is going to be fabulous.

Watkins Glen is a lot faster.

Having the Indianapolis 500 and the Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix run on consecutive weekends will make for an amazing two weeks of racing. The history and heritage of open-wheel racing at both facilities is well known, and these events running back to back should really help create momentum for the rest of the season.

Erik was running slow, he was pacing me. This was a great race and a great day, the weather was very nice.

I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

Or if the weather is like last year's, we had a fun but sloppy time. Participants were sliding all over, falling down in the mud enjoying themselves. Everyone had a thrill! His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. Activities have all been a hit in the past. Now when we get to Watkins Glen, that's going to be the slowest lap in history. I'm going to tell the team not to expect me to set a flyer on that first one.

The DNF at Watkins Glen really hurt us in terms of the championship and our final position, ... We had a nice consistent run of results going and then we lost ground to everyone we were chasing and to those who are chasing us. You can't worry about where this driver or that driver is during the race. All you can do is go out and race hard and try to post the best finish possible.

We've learned a lot during the years. The weather this time of year is always unpredictable. One weekend will be real pretty and then festival weekend it can rain and turnout will be down. Overall we have been lucky with the weather. People have really supported us.
